Top 40 Safety Need Maps
The Top 40 Safety needs maps rank the counties in Kentucky 1 to 120 and identifies the 40 counties with the most safety need in the particular area. The determination is based on 3 year averages for most categories. Click on the thumbnail to open or download the letter size map.
For the FFY2024 grant review and years forward, the KOHS expanded the analysis to use 5 years of data, compiled on the federal fiscal year (October 1 through September 30). The dashboards also include rate (per traffic volume) based rankings.
