Project Management

Newtown Pike Extension Paperwork

The Project Management Branch is tasked with the overall management of the environmental process in the development of highway projects.  Environmental Project Managers (EPM’s) in this section oversee the coordination of information and needs from the 12 Highway Districts with the various in-house Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) and consultants.  Most importantly, the Project Management section is responsible for assuring KYTC compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), and all other regulatory requirements necessary for the development and operation of our roadway network.
