Purpose
Per FAST Act recommendation, the Kentucky Transportaiton Cabinet (KYTC) created the Kentucky Freight Advisory Committee for Transportation (KFACT) in January 2017.  The KFACT is a public-private stakeholder group that advises on freight-related priorities, projects, funding, and challenges. The committee typically meets two to three times per year. Meetings are held at the KYTC's Central Office location or at an offsite facility if a KFACT member volunteers to host the committee. All meetings of the KFACT are open to the public. Recent agendas, presentations, and other resources can be found on this page. Though the KFACT is a designated committee, the KYTC recognizes the need for input and feedback from our external partners.  As such, all freight stakeholders are encouraged to attend and actively participate in all meetings.
