The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has scheduled a public hearing regarding the Veterans Memorial Parkway (KY 1958) Extension. This project would complete a four-lane bypass route around the western, southern, and eastern sides of the City of Winchester, in Clark County. The purpose of the meeting is to share the recommended alternative, findings of the Environmental Assessment, and to provide opportunity for comment. Anyone having an interest is urged to attend.

The hearing will be held on Thursday, August 3rd from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. local time, at George Rogers Clark High School in Winchester, KY.

A comment sheet will be distributed during the hearing to facilitate public comment.  Oral and written comments can also be made during and after the meeting, Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. local time for 15 workdays (until August 24, 2023) at the Kentucky Department of Highways District 7 Office, located at 800 Newtown Court in Lexington, Kentucky 40511.
