Project Updates
September 24, 2026 - The project team met to go over preliminary ROW plans for the Garrard County (7-196.30) section of the project. Plans are projected to be finalized by the end of 2026 with a Joint Inspection meeting antipicated for Spring 2027.

​April ​9, 2026 - The project team received recommendations from Geotechnical Services Branch on embankment locations. These recommendations will be incorporated into revised design along the proposed corridor. Updated displays and KMZ's should be available to the public in the coming months.
