April 22, 2026 - At the Preliminary Line and Grade meeting on January 8, 2026, the Project Team recommended Alternative No. 4 (Peanut Roundabout) as the preferred alternative for advancement with Phase II Final Design. Alternative No. 4 (Peanut Roundabout) would improve safety and travel reliability for road users along Leestown Rd at the intersections with Weisenberger Mill Rd and Paynes Depot Rd while limiting Right-of-Way costs compared to the development of a new 4-way intersection.
