Project Updates

December 22, 2023 - KYTC and our design consultant, Strand, have completed the Right of Way plans.  The appraisals will begin soon.  Property owners will be contacted by independent appraisers working for KYTC in the next several months.  Once the appraisals are completed, right of way acquisitions will begin and proceed through 2024.  Utility companies will begin their relocation designs and will be moving impacted utilities over the next year.  The project construction will begin once the right-of-way and utility relocations are complete if funding has been appropriated in the highway plan.
