Interstate 65 in Louisville will close between the Watterson Expressway (I-264) and downtown Louisville (Jefferson Street) from June 1- July 31 to speed progress on replacing 3 aging bridges.
The closure will save at least a year of construction restrictions, and a signed detour will be in place. Local street closures and ramp closures will also be needed.

I-75 Connector

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) has undertaken the preliminary design and environmental study for a new link between Jessamine and Madison Counties, commonly referred to as the I-75 Connector. People who live or work in and around Jessamine and Madison Counties can provide valuable input that is important to creating the best possible project. For that reason, KYTC encourages the public to stay informed and engaged in the project as it moves forward.

Project Status (October 12, 2016)

The KYTC is currently reviewing alignments to determine how the project team will proceed to finalize the preliminary design phase of the project. Once this determination has been made, the website will be updated to reflect how the project will proceed.
