August 18, 2026 - A Local Officials and Stakeholders Meeting was held March 6, 2025 at the District 7 Office. The project is still awaiting funding approval to move forward to Final Design.
October 4, 2024 - The Transportation Cabinet received funding for final design in August 2024. Funding for right-of-way acquisition, utility relocations, and construction phases will be evaluated by the Transportation Cabinet, local officials, and legislature as they prioritize projects for the 2026 Highway Plan.
