Temporary closure of KY 1604 in Bullitt County

Louisville, KY (May 22, 2018) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 5 Office advises motorists of the temporary closure of KY 1604 (Deatsville Road) in Bullitt County due to cross-drain replacement. Two new pipes are being installed prior to resurfacing of this roadway.

KY 1604 will be closed at mile marker 2.5 near Maraman Lane on Wednesday, May 23. The road will be closed again on Thursday, May 24 at mile marker 1.2 just north of the Deatsville Road/Lotus Drive intersection. The closures will take place from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. each day. Motorists will be detoured via KY 480 to I-65 to KY 245.

KY 1604 will be resurfaced between KY 245 and KY 480. Paving will be completed by the end of June.
