Interstate 64 lane closures in Shelby County on February 27

Louisville, KY (Feb. 27, 2018) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of maintenance work this evening in both directions of Interstate 64 in Shelby County. KYTC road crews will continue patching potholes on I-64 East. They will work from 7 p.m. until 11 p.m. in the right lane between KY 53 in Shelbyville and the weigh station (mile markers 35 to 38).

In addition, another crew will perform bridge deck patching on I-64 West at the bridge over Clear Creek (mile marker 33.2). The left lane will be closed between mile markers 33 and 34. Crews will be working at this location from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. The lane closures will remain in place until 11 p.m. to allow the new concrete to cure.

The date and duration of this work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.  Visit goky.ky.gov for the latest in traffic and travel information in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.  You can also get traffic information for the District 5 counties at facebook.com/KYTCDistrict5 and twitter.com/KYTCDistrict5 .
