Interstate 65 in Louisville will close between the Watterson Expressway (I-264) and downtown Louisville (Jefferson Street) from June 1- July 31 to speed progress on replacing 3 aging bridges.
The closure will save at least a year of construction restrictions, and a signed detour will be in place. Local street closures and ramp closures will also be needed.

KY 1399 in Shelby County to be closed September 19-22

Louisville, KY (September 17, 2013) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 5 Office advises motorists that KY 1399 (Veechdale Road) in Shelby County will be closed later this week. The roadway will be closed between the railroad crossing and KY 1848 (mile points 2.0 to 2.4) due to roadway relocation as part of the outlet mall construction.

This closure is scheduled from 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 19 until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 22. Motorists can detour this closure by traveling south on KY 1399, turning left onto Taylorwood Road and then accessing KY 1848 (Buck Creek Road).

The actual starting date and duration of this work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
