Temporary closure of KY 1790 in Shelby County on February 22-23
Louisville, KY (Feb. 14, 2018) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) has granted a permit for temporary closure of KY 1790 (Hooper Station Road) to Norfolk Southern Railroad. This closure will allow for repairs to the crossing located between the Interstate 64 overpass and KY 714 (Hempridge Road).
KY 1790 is scheduled for closure at the Norfolk Southern Railroad crossing (mile marker 3.4) from 9 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 22 until 9 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 23. Motorists should follow the signed detour via KY 714, US 60 and KY 53.
