Interstate 64 lane and ramp closures in Jefferson County on June 29-30
Louisville, KY (June 26, 2019) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of lane and ramp closures this weekend on Interstate 64 in Jefferson County. Engineers will be performing biennial inspection of bridges at the I-64/Roy Wilkins Avenue (Ninth Street) interchange in downtown Louisville.
Lane closures in both directions will be necessary on Saturday, June 29 to inspect the flyover ramps at I-64 and Roy Wilkins Avenue (mile marker 4.0). This work is scheduled from 6:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
On Sunday, June 30, the exit ramp from I-64 East to Roy Wilkins Avenue (Exit 4) and the entrance ramp from this street to I-64 West will both be closed for inspection of these elevated structures. This work is scheduled from 6:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
