Interstate 265 lane closures in Jefferson County on June 11-12
Louisville, KY (June 11, 2019) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of lane closures this evening on Interstate 265 (Gene Snyder Freeway) in Jefferson County for bridge inspection. Engineers will be inspecting the Pope Lick Road bridge over I-265 (mile marker 24.8).
I-265 South will be reduced to one lane this evening, Tuesday, June 11. Crews will begin working in the right lane at 8 p.m. and switch to the left lane as the inspection progresses. All lanes will reopen by 6 a.m. on Wednesday, June 12.
If time permits, crews may move to I-265 North to continue inspection work.
