Interstate bridge inspections in Jefferson County scheduled for June 11-20

Louisville, KY (June 10, 2019) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of interstate bridge inspections in Jefferson County scheduled for June 11-20. Inspection of several bridges on I-64 will require daytime lane closures on roads underneath the interstate.

Lane closures will be necessary from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on the following dates and locations:

• Tuesday, June 11 – lane closures on Northwestern Parkway near I-64 East exit to 22^nd Street
• Wednesday, June 12, Thursday, June 13 and Monday, June 17 – lane closures on 22^nd Street and Northwestern Parkway
• Tuesday, June 18 – Thursday, June 20 – inspection of I-64 over 27^th Street and the Norfolk Southern Railroad, no lane closures needed
