The response indicates that there are efforts to link the crash data to the EMS and trauma registry databases. Please note the Advisory makes a distinction between integration (linkage of databases) and an interface. An interface is a standing or real-time relationship between datasets and a high degree of system interoperability. An interface between the EMS and Trauma Registry data systems was not described.
