Interstate 65 in Louisville will close between the Watterson Expressway (I-264) and downtown Louisville (Jefferson Street) from June 1- July 31 to speed progress on replacing 3 aging bridges.
The closure will save at least a year of construction restrictions, and a signed detour will be in place. Local street closures and ramp closures will also be needed.

KY 54 Widening Project

KY 54 is one of the busiest stretches of roadway in Daviess County, with around 32,000 cars passing between Heartland Crossing Boulevard, just west of the US 60 bypass, and Bold Forbes Way in the east every day. To better accommodate existing traffic and allow for continued development in the area, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is in the process of widening the roadway from two to three lanes in each direction and adding a concrete safety median for added safety.
