Interstate 65 in Louisville will close between the Watterson Expressway (I-264) and downtown Louisville (Jefferson Street) from June 1- July 31 to speed progress on replacing 3 aging bridges.
The closure will save at least a year of construction restrictions, and a signed detour will be in place. Local street closures and ramp closures will also be needed.

Traffic Advisory: KY 989 Closure Aug. 10-11 in Lewis County for Pavement Repairs
Closed day and night, Tuesday and Wednesday

FLEMINGSBURG, Ky. (Aug. 6, 2021) – The Kentucky Department of Highways will temporarily close KY 989 (Salt Lick Road) near Glen Springs in Lewis County for two days next week to make pavement repairs.

Beginning at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 10, and continuing through Wednesday afternoon, KY 989 will be closed about 5 miles south of the AA Highway (milepoint 7.65) between Toller Branch Road and Cypress Lane three tenths of a mile north of Glen Springs.

The road will be closed day and night during construction. Motorists may detour using the AA Highway (KY 9), KY 57, and KY 1237 or other routes through Burtonville.

Road work schedules are subject to change depending on weather conditions. Motorists are asked to heed all warning signs, slow down in work zones and remain aware of workers and construction equipment when traveling.
