Traffic Advisory: Signal upgrade Wednesday at KY 207 and KY 750 in Flatwoods
Expect flagged traffic at the intersection
FLEMINGSBURG, Ky. (Aug. 31, 2018) – Motorists should watch for flagged traffic at the Powell Lane and Argillite Road intersection (KY 207 and KY 750) in Flatwoods on Wednesday, Sept. 5, for a Kentucky Department of Highways traffic signal upgrade.
Work will start about 9 a.m. Wednesday as technicians cut power to the signal. Flaggers will direct traffic at the four-way intersection throughout the day during the upgrade. Motorists should expect flagged traffic, and possible delays, through the evening rush hour.
The traffic signal will be reactivated once work is complete Wednesday night. However, crosswalk signals could remain off until Thursday.
Motorists and pedestrians are advised to use caution until all work is complete.
Road work schedules are subject to change depending on weather conditions. Motorists are asked to heed all warning signs, slow down in work zones and remain aware of workers and construction equipment when traveling.
