Interstate 65 in Louisville will close between the Watterson Expressway (I-264) and downtown Louisville (Jefferson Street) from June 1- July 31 to speed progress on replacing 3 aging bridges.
The closure will save at least a year of construction restrictions, and a signed detour will be in place. Local street closures and ramp closures will also be needed.

Traffic Advisory: Work starting on KY 750 improvements in downtown Flatwoods

FLEMINGSBURG, Ky. (Aug. 10, 2016) – More than $300,000 in Transportation Cabinet improvements for KY 750 will begin this week in Greenup County.

The project includes paving and sidewalk ramps along two and a half miles of KY 750 (Lexington Avenue-Powell Lane) from US 23 to KY 1172-Seaton Avenue in downtown Flatwoods.

Contractors plan to start sidewalk ramp work today, Wednesday, Aug. 10, in preparation for paving, which is expected to start by Aug. 22, weather permitting.

The work is being done under a low-bid $325,325 contract with Mountain Enterprises Inc.

Road work schedules are subject to change depending on weather conditions. Motorists are asked to heed all warning signs, slow down in work zones and remain aware of workers and construction equipment when traveling.
