Traffic Advisory: KY 1 repairs rescheduled for week of Jan. 29
One-lane traffic at 8 mile marker for two weeks
FLEMINGSBURG, Ky. (Jan. 18, 2018) – Embankment repairs along KY 1 in central Greenup County planned for this week have been rescheduled due to weather.
Beginning Monday, Jan. 29, crews and contractors will begin repairs on KY 1 at the 8 mile marker a mile and a half south of Greenbo Road near Davey Lane. The work will require an overnight lane closure for about two weeks, or until work is complete.
Temporary traffic signals will be used to control traffic. Motorists should expect delays.
Road work schedules are subject to change depending on weather conditions. Motorists are asked to heed all warning signs, slow down in work zones and remain aware of workers and construction equipment when traveling.
