Traffic Advisory: One-lane traffic on KY 1 at 8 mile marker for embankment repairs
For next two weeks
FLEMINGSBURG, Ky. (Jan. 11, 2018) – Embankment repairs along KY 1 in central Greenup County will restrict the roadway to one-lane traffic for the next couple of weeks.
Beginning Tuesday morning, Jan. 16, crews and contractors will begin repairs on KY 1 at the 8 mile marker a mile and a half south of Greenbo Road near Davey Lane. The work will require an overnight lane closure for about 14 days, or until work is complete.
Temporary traffic signals will be used to control traffic. Motorists should expect delays.
Road work schedules are subject to change depending on weather conditions. Motorists are asked to heed all warning signs, slow down in work zones and remain aware of workers and construction equipment when traveling.
