Henry County: KY 146 Realignment and Widening Project 05-80260

Purpose	Major realignment and widening of KY 146 (LaGrange Road) in Henry County. The project will enhance the safety of what is currently a narrow, two-lane winding roadway.
Project Scope	The section of KY 146 between KY 153 (Lake Jericho Road), south of the Interstate 71 interchange, and Broko Lane. That’s between mile points 2.169 and 5.333.
Type of Project	The project included the paving of 2–12-foot lanes and 8-foot shoulders along with two (2) segments of shoulder widening on both sides of the road, known as Farm Vehicle Lanes, to accommodate the need for a safe pull over the area to check equipment and/or allow other vehicles to pass. The segments to be widened are: MP 3.29 to MP 3.41 MP 4.90 to MP 5.02 Also, with the project, minimal waterline will relocate and widen the bridge over the Little Kentucky River to accommodate the widened roadway.
