Interstate 65 in Louisville will close between the Watterson Expressway (I-264) and downtown Louisville (Jefferson Street) from June 1- July 31 to speed progress on replacing 3 aging bridges. The closure will save at least a year of construction restrictions, and a signed detour will be in place. Local street closures and ramp closures will also be needed.

Area residents invited to attend public meeting on proposed improvements to KY 15 in Breathitt County JACKSON, KY – Residents of Breathitt County are invited to attend a public informational meeting to discuss a proposed project to improve KY 15 in the city limits of Jackson. The meeting will be held Thursday, July 11, from 5-7 p.m. at LBJ Elementary School in Jackson. It will be an "open house" format meeting with no formal presentation. A project is under development to improve capacity on KY 15 between the KY 1812 (Main Street) intersection and the intersection of KY 30 and new KY 15 near the Shell food mart. At this meeting, members of the public will be able to view plans showing the proposed improvement and the properties to be impacted by the project. Public input will help guide future development of the project. Comment forms will be available so attendees can provide their opinions on the project. --####-- | |
