KY 2016 in Lee County to be closed Saturday, Dec. 7
JACKSON, KY – Drivers who use KY 2016 (Big Andy Ridge) in Lee County will need to find an alternate route on Saturday, Dec. 7. The road will be closed near milepoint 3.35 for replacement of a drainage pipe. This location is just north of Cliff's Run Road.
Work will begin around 8 a.m., and should be completed by 4 p.m. During this time, the road will be closed to all through traffic.
No marked detour will be posted, but drivers can use KY 715 and KY 11 through Wolfe County as an alternate route. Motorists should plan their trips accordingly.
Between 100 and 150 vehicles use this portion of KY 2016 each day.
In case of inclement weather, the closure will be postponed until another suitable date.
