Interstate 65 in Louisville will close between the Watterson Expressway (I-264) and downtown Louisville (Jefferson Street) from June 1- July 31 to speed progress on replacing 3 aging bridges.
The closure will save at least a year of construction restrictions, and a signed detour will be in place. Local street closures and ramp closures will also be needed.

Motorists should watch for roadside maintenance on interstates/highways throughout the district DAILY. We will send out information to the public if these tasks require significant impacts to traffic.

KY 8 LICKING RIVER BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT

​The KY 8 Licking River Bridge between Covington and Newport in Kenton and Campbell counties was closed to all users on Monday, Jan. 12 at 9 a.m. The previous bridge span was demolished using a controlled blast on Monday, March 2, making way for a new signature bridge that will provide a safer crossing for vehicles, pedestrians, bus riders, and bicyclists.

On Thursday, March 5, the Licking River reopened following the contractor's work to remove all portions of the bridge.​

A signed detour is in place utilizing the Girl Scout Bridge (KY 1120/MLK Jr. Blvd./11th Street in Newport). An all-stop condition will be in place at Fourth and Garrard Streets in Covington.

Pedestrians and bicyclists have access to a free shuttle service provided by the Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky (TANK). This shuttle service is operating seven-days-a-week​ and includes four stops in both Covington and Newport.

Hours of Operation are:
  • Weekdays: 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
  • Weekends: 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.

BOONE AND KENTON COUNTIES

A resurfacing project on several routes in Boone & Kenton Counties is in progress. This project will also include sidewalk ramp reconstruction in various areas, sidewalk/curb repairs, curb box inlet repairs, radar detection at several intersections and the installation of signal head and other various signage. 

The following locations will be resurfaced:

  • COMPLETE: U.S. 42 from east of Ewing Blvd. (14.5 mile point) to Main Street (U.S. 25) (15.28 mile point). ​
  • IN PROGRESS: Dixie Highway (U.S. 25) from north of Dortha Avenue (10.9 mile point) to the Boone/Kenton County line (11.4 mile point).
  • IN PROGRESS: Dixie Highway (U.S. 25) from the Boone/Kenton County line (4.97 mile point) to north of Hallam Avenue (6.26 mile point). 
  • COMPLETE: Dixie Highway (U.S. 25) from north of Marian Drive (8.13 mile point) to Orphanage Road (KY 371) (8.65 mile point).

Curb box inlet repairs and base failure repairs have been completed. Crews will continue to work on sidewalk ramp improvements for accessibility on two portions of Dixie Highway. Daytime single lane closures will be in place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.


The project also includes a roadway reconfiguration of Dixie Highway from Turfway Road to northeast of Commonwealth Avenue. This portion of the work is currently paused to allow KYTC to reengage with the Cities of Erlanger, Elsmere and Florence. CARROLL AND GALLATIN COUNTIES

  • I-71 – 52.77 – 57.36 mile points – A widening project aimed at reducing congestion and improving safety on I-71 in Carroll and Gallatin counties is in progress. The project will widen I-71 from its configuration of two lanes in each direction, to three lanes.

    ​Beginning at 7 p.m. on Monday, June 1, KY 47 will be closed to through traffic at the I-71 underpass for demolition of the existing overpass bridge. The closure will remain in place overnight, with work expected to be completed by 7 a.m. on Tuesday, June 2. No traffic impacts are expected for I-71 during the demolition process.

    As of 8 a.m. on Friday, May 29, traffic on I-71 northbound was shifted from the original northbound lanes into the median while crews reconstruct the original northbound lanes. Two lanes of northbound traffic are being maintained and separated by the permanent barrier wall. During this phase, crews are removing the existing pavement and completing shoulder work on I-71 northbound.

    Following the traffic shift, crews will perform shoulder and barrier wall work within the project limits. This work will take place during evening/overnight hours. Intermittent lane closures may be required between 7 p.m. and 8 a.m. while this work is being performed. This work is expected to be completed by 8 a.m. on Saturday, May 30. Beginning next week, crews will begin the reconstruction of the original northbound lanes.

    As of 8 a.m. on Friday, May 22, traffic on I-71 southbound was shifted from the median-divided configuration onto the newly paved section on the southbound side.

    This widening project includes a bridge replacement over KY 47. The current bridges will be replaced with a new, single span bridge matching the median widening throughout the project area.

    The speed limit in the work zone has been reduced to 55 MPH, and law enforcement will be on-site to ensure compliance. Please, drive carefully throughout the work zone. Weather permitting, the overall project is expected to be completed Nov. 1, 2026. Learn more about the project here.


  • VARIOUS ROUTES: Districtwide striping is now underway. Contractors will be striping various routes within the district: Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Harrison, Kenton, Owen, Pendleton, and Robertson. Most work will occur during daytime working hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Routes with higher traffic volume will be completed during nights or weekends to minimize traffic impacts.

    Interstate routes will be completed first followed by primary state routes then secondary routes. Striping is a slow-moving mobile operation. Motorists should slow down and expect slow moving traffic in mobile work zones. Please avoid driving over fresh, wet paint. The project has a completion date of Aug. 15, 2026.

  • Dixie Highway (U.S. 25) – 7.64 – 9.2 mile point – A high friction surface treatment is being applied to a portion of Dixie Highway from the Mt. Zion Road (KY 536) intersection to just south of Industrial Road (KY 1829).

    Weather has delayed this project, crews are scheduled to return on Thursday, May 28. Work will take place during evening/overnight hours of 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. and will require a single lane closure. Flaggers will be on-site to safely direct traffic through the work zone and at intersections.

    The contract completion date is Oct. 31, 2026; however, the contractor anticipates completing this work by 5 a.m. on Friday, May 29.


  • ​​U.S. 42 – 0.0 – 5.67 mile points –​ A resurfacing project on U.S. 42 between the Boone/Gallatin County line and Richwood Road is in progress. Crews are completing preliminary tasks ahead of resurfacing including clearing work and signage installation/replacement. ​​ Motorists should expect single lane closures throughout the project area.

    When Boone County Schools are in session, this work will take place between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. There are no time restrictions for work when school is out for spring and summer break. Milling and paving operations have not yet been scheduled.

    Weather permitting, this work is expected to be completed by June 30, 2026.

  • Walton-Verona Road (KY 14)  3.99  8.04 mile points  A maintenance project on Walton-Verona Road from Lebanon-Crittenden Road (KY 491) to Mary Grubbs Highway​ is complete for now. Crews will return in the near future to continue pavement and shoulder improvements. We will advise once this work is scheduled. 

  • Various Routes –​ A preventive maintenance project on several roads in Boone County is in progress.
    Crews will perform a thinlay surface project on the following roads:

  • U.S. 42 from east of Beechwood Lane to just west of Evergreen Drive

  • Weaver Road (KY 842) from east of Tamarack Drive to west of Quinn Drive

  • Quadrant Road from U.S. 42 to Weaver Road

Crack sealing operations are now complete. The area will require a 30-day curing period prior to paving operations. This work has not yet been scheduled. KYTC will advise on the once it has been scheduled.

The contract completion date is Sept. 30, 2026; however, the contractor's schedule shows a completion of early July.

  • Richardson Road (KY 842)  0.12 mile point  The bridge east of Dixie Highway (U.S. 25) on Richardson Road at the 0.12 mile point has a weight limit reduction of three tons.

    While the bridge remains safe for vehicular traffic, a recent inspection found some deterioration. KYTC bridge engineering analysis shows the weight limit reduction is needed as a precaution, and to prevent further damage until the bridge can be repaired. KYTC is working with the railroad company to coordinate a repair plan.

    We will provide updates once the bridge repair plan has been scheduled. Prohibited vehicles can detour using Industrial Road (KY 1829) or Mt. Zion Road (KY 536).

Bracken County Header

  • KY 19 – 10.67 – 12.54 mile point – A resurfacing project on a portion of KY 19 beginning at the north end of the Locust Creek Bridge extending north to Asbury Road is in progress.

    Paving operations and shoulder work are complete. The last remaining tasks are edge line and center line rumble strips and final striping once rumbles are installed. A single lane closure will be in place as needed between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. with flaggers on-site to direct traffic.

    Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by the end of May.


  • Neave Milford Road (KY 539) – 4.728 – 4.756 mile point – A bridge replacement project on Neave Milford Road in Bracken County is in progress.

    The project involves removing the existing bridge deck and beams over Willow Creek near Riley Mill Road, then setting new beams and constructing a new deck. The updated structure will improve safety and reliability for motorists in the area.

    To accommodate the work, the bridge will be closed to traffic during construction beginning Monday, April 13. A signed detour will be in place to guide motorists around the closure utilizing KY 22, KY 10 and KY 19.

    The bridge is expected to reopen to traffic on Monday, Aug. 11. Additional work will continue throughout the project area following the reopening until all project tasks are complete.

    Motorists are encouraged to follow posted signage and use caution in the area. Message boards will be placed near the work zone to advise of the upcoming work.

    The overall project is expected to be completed by Nov. 1, 2026.

  • KY 10  7.73  13.96 mile points  A resurfacing project on a portion of KY 10 from KY 22 to KY 1159 is in progress.

    Paving operations and shoulder work are complete. The last remaining tasks are installation of rumble strips and edge line striping. This work will require a single lane closure as needed between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Flaggers will guide traffic safely through the work zone.

    Weather permitting, this project is expected to be completed by the end of May.


Campbell County RR Title.png

  • Martha Layne Collins Boulevard (KY 2345)  0.3  0.6 mile points  A permit project to install a gas line between Johns Hill Road and east of Salmon Pass is in progress. Motorists should expect various lane closures, and at times, full road closures as part of the project. Crews will perform this work nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. All lanes/roads will reopen daily by 6 a.m. This work will be performed in four phases over a six-week period. Motorists should follow the signed detour to get around the construction zone. Weather permitting, this permit project is expected to be completed Monday, June 29.

  • Memorial Parkway (KY 1120)  1.67 ​ 3.87 mile points  A resurfacing project on Memorial Parkway from Wilson Road to near Highlands High School is in progress. 

    Base failure repairs are now complete. Milling and paving operations have not yet been scheduled. KYTC will provide an update once these operations have been scheduled.

    This resurfacing is part of a larger resurfacing project that includes a portion of Grand Avenue (KY 1892), which includes a roadway reconfiguration from Churchill Drive to S. Fort Thomas Avenue (KY 1120).

    Additionally, a portion of Mary Ingles Highway (KY 8) from the intersection of Industrail Road (KY 8) and KY 455 to just past Maple Road was completed as part of the project.

    The overall project is expected to be completed Aug. 1, 2026.

  • E. Alexandria Pike (KY 2925) – 0.4 – 0.6 mile points – A slide repair project on this portion of E. Alexandria Pike is in progress. The road closed to traffic south of Cabin Creek Drive starting at 7 a.m. on Monday, May 18, to allow crews to drill steel to stabilize the roadway.

    Crews have installed temporary signals on E. Alexandria Pike near the slide location. This will allow motorists to pass through the area using a single alternating lane of traffic this holiday weekend. 

    Weather permitting, on Tuesday, May 26, crews will return to the project site with a full road closure from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The road will reopen at 5:30 p.m. The temporary signals will remain in place until the week of Monday, June 1, when our KYTC Campbell County maintenance crew finishes ditching/drainage operations near the slide location.

    Weather permitting, work is expected to be completed by Friday, June 5. We will provide an update if additional time is needed.


  • Grand Avenue (KY 1892) – 1.42 – 2.12 mile points – A roadway rehabilitation project on a portion of Grand Avenue is in progress. Crews will be replacing the concrete pavement with asphalt on Grand Avenue from east of Pavilion Parkway (2.12 mile point) to southeast of Churchill Drive (1.42 mile point), a distance of 0.7 miles. Additionally, curb box inlets will be repaired, and sidewalks will be improved to be in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

    On Thursday, May 21, crews implemented a traffic switch. Westbound lanes on Grand Avenue have reopened from the I-471 southbound intersection to Pavilion Parkway. Eastbound traffic will remain reduced to a single lane through this section. 

    Traffic patterns from the I-471 southbound intersection to Churchill Drive remain unchanged in both directions. Westbound lanes are still closed, and traffic will continue to run in both directions on the eastbound side of the roadway. 

    Additionally, the sidewalk throughout the project area is blocked. TANK riders at the Grand Towers stop will continue to utilize the stop at Churchill and Grand Avenue. The I-471 southbound off-ramp to Grand Avenue remains closed.

    Additional phases for this project will include traffic switches, extended ramp closures and various lane closures in the project area. KYTC will provide future traffic impacts via press release, social media and the KYTC District 6 Roadshow.

    Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed Aug. 1, 2026.


Carroll County Header

  • Whites Run Road (KY 1112) – 2.5 mile point – A slide repair project on a portion of Whites Run Road near the I-71 underpass is scheduled to begin on Monday, June 1.

    Temporary traffic signals are currently in place on each side of the slide area, allowing traffic to alternate through a single lane.

    Beginning Monday, June 1, Whites Run Road will be closed at the slide location from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily while crews perform stabilization work. The closure will be between 2560 Whites Run Road and 3155 Whites Run Road, with local access maintained on either side of the work zone. No thru traffic will be permitted during closure hours.

    As part of the repair project, crews will drill and install steel reinforcement to stabilize the roadway. Tree trimming operations will also be performed within the work zone.

    Motorists can detour using KY 227 and KY 36. Signage will be in place to guide drivers around the closure. 

    At the end of each workday, the road will reopen to traffic and temporary traffic signals will resume operation, allowing vehicles to alternate through a single lane past the slide area. This traffic pattern will remain in place outside of working hours until repairs are complete.

    Weather permitting, this project is expected to be completed by 4 p.m. on Friday, June 5.

Gallatin County Header

  • U.S. 42 – 9.2 – 11.8 mile points – A tree trimming and slope mowing maintenance project is in progress from east of Middleton Road to west of U.S. 127. Crews are working between the hours of 8 a.m. and 2:45 p.m.

    Crews are utilizing Automatic Flagger Assistance Devices (AFADs) to manage traffic through the work zone. You can learn more about AFADs and how they work here​. Motorists are reminded to obey all traffic control devices and never drive through the work zone when an AFAD displays a red signal or lowered gate arm.

    For safety reasons, traffic must be temporarily stopped while slope mowing operations are underway. Closures are being implemented in 10-to-15-minute intervals, after which queued traffic will be allowed through the work zone from both directions.

    Motorists are encouraged to find alternate routes to avoid delays. Weather permitting, this project is expected to be completed by Friday, June 19. An additional slope mower has been assigned to the Gallatin County maintenance crew to help expedite the work.


Grant County Header 
  • Warsaw Road (KY 467) – 3.8 – 9.0 mile points – A safety improvement project on a portion of Warsaw Road is in progress. Work will take place beginning just west of Sipple Road extending to just east of the Huff Road.

    The project includes several upgrades to improve driver safety, such as roadway regrading, signage improvements, guardrail work, tree trimming, cribbing, culvert work and utility relocation.

    A single lane closure will be in place from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Flaggers will be on-site to guide traffic through the work zone. 

    Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by July 31, 2026.

  • Clay Wade Bailey Bridge (U.S. 25) – 13.5 – 13.9 mile points – A routine bridge inspection will begin Monday, June 1, on the Clay Wade Bailey Bridge, which carries U.S. 25 traffic over the Ohio River between Covington and Cincinnati.

    The following lane closures will be in place during the inspection:
    - Monday, June 1: U.S. 25 northbound right lane closed from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
    - Tuesday, June 2: U.S. 25 southbound right lane closed from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

    The sidewalk will remain open during the work; however, crews will be utilizing rope-access and fall-arrest climbing techniques from the sidewalk and beneath the bridge to complete inspection activities.

    Pedestrians should use caution when traveling through the work area and be aware of personnel and equipment operating near the sidewalk.

    Weather permitting, this work is expected to be completed by 4 p.m. on Tuesday, June 2.


  • KY 536 – 2.12 – 4.45 mile point – A maintenance project on a portion of KY 536 from Banklick Road (KY 2043) to Madison Pike (KY 17) will begin on Monday, June 1. The KYTC Kenton County maintenance crew will perform in-depth pothole patching repairs to improve roadway conditions and safety for motorists. These repairs involve milling damaged pavement in localized areas and paving those sections to provide a long-lasting repair. 

    Beginning Monday, June 1, crews will close KY 536 between Williamswoods Drive (2.53 mile point) and Greenbrook Drive (3.02 mile point) during daytime working hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. to complete pothole repairs. No through traffic will be permitted within the work zone during these hours. The road will reopen to traffic daily at 4 p.m.

    Barricades will be placed at Banklick Road (KY 2043) (2.12 mile point) and Independence Road (KY 2045) (3.29 mile point) to alert motorists of the closure. Local traffic will be permitted beyond these initial barricades to access homes within the area. 

    Weather permitting, crews will continue repairs through Friday, June 5, progressing eastward along KY 536 toward Madison Pike (KY 17) (4.45 mile point). Additional traffic impacts will be necessary, and updates will be provided as work advances.


  • Locust Pike (KY 1930)  4.7  5.7 mile point A portion of Locust Pike from Red Row Lane to Railroad Drive is blocked due to a mudslide. No thru traffic is permitted past the barricades in place. The closure will remain in place until further notice.

    KYTC Kenton County maintenance crews will work to reopen the road once the weather clears. We will provide an update on when the road is expected to reopen once the mud removal project is scheduled.

  • Various Routes – Two resurfacing projects in Kenton County are in progress.

    A portion of Staffordsburg Road (KY 536) from Taylor Mill Road (KY 16) (6.08 mile point) extending easterly to Visalia Road (7.37 mile point)

    Rich Road (KY 14) from Madison Pike (KY 17) (3.26 mile point) to Decoursey Pike (KY 177) (8.37 mile point).

    Base failure repairs on the Staffordsburg Road portion of the project are complete. Milling on Staffordsburg Road and Rich Road has been completed.

    Paving operations on Staffordsburg Road are complete. Crews have shifted paving operations to Rich Road.

    Motorists should expect daytime single lane closures with flaggers guiding traffic through the project limits.

    Weather permitting, this project is expected to be completed June 30, 2026.

  • Turkeyfoot Road (KY 1303) – 2.72 – 4.98 mile point – A resurfacing project on Turkeyfoot Road from just south of Brightleaf Boulevard to just north of Dudley Road is nearing completion.

    Base failure repairs, traffic sensor installation and paving operations are complete. Permanent thermoplastic striping will be applied throughout the project limits during evening/overnight hours on Friday, May 29Motorists should continue to expect lane closures during these operations. One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained at all times.

    The contract completion date is Nov. 15, 2026; however, the contractor’s schedule shows a completion of Summer 2026.

  • Decoursey Ave./E. 30th St./James Ave. (KY 16) – 15.00 – 15.87 mile point – A resurfacing project on Decoursey Ave./E. 30th St./James Ave. from just south of the railroad crossing near 36th street extending north to Madison Pike (KY 17) is nearing completion.

    The project includes resurfacing, curb repairs, sidewalk ramp improvements for accessibility, installation of traffic detectors to enhance traffic flow and the installation of median delineators on a portion of the corridor.

    Base failure repairs and milling/paving operations are complete. The last task of the project is sealing concrete joints.

    Additionally, crews will install median delineators near the railroad crossing, near 36th street, as part of the project to help improve safety in the area. Various additional work tasks may also occur during daytime hours from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

    The project is expected to be completed by June 30, 2026.​

  • Winston Ave/Decoursey Ave (KY 16) – 14.89 – 14.93 mile point – A roadway rehabilitation project on Winston Ave/Decoursey Ave from just north of Decoursey Ave (KY 177) and West Southern Ave extending to just north on Inez Street is nearing completion.

    Crews will replace asphalt pavement with concrete on this portion of Winston Ave/Decoursey Ave. Phase one and two of seven-day closures required for the work are complete. The final task of the project is permanent striping then the project will be complete, this work is weather permitting.


  • Madison Pike (KY 3035)  2.47 mile point  A road closure near Worthington Drive​ is in place due to a slide. The road is closed to thru traffic. Local traffic will still have access until the closure area. Motorists can detour using Madison Pike (KY 17) to either Wayman Branch Road (KY 3716) or Hands Pike (KY 1501). This closure will be in place until further notice. KYTC will provide updates on the Roadshow once repairs have been scheduled.

  • Turkeyfoot Road (KY 1303) 1.05  2.71 mile points  A resurfacing project from north of Beechgrove Elementary School to south of Brightleaf Boulevard is in progress. 

    Crack sealing operations are complete. Crews will return to perform paving operations 30 days after crack sealing operations have been completed. 

    Weather permitting, the project has a contract completoin date of Sept. 30, 2026.
  • Bristow Road/Shaw Road (KY 536) – 2.54 – 4.47 mile points – A widening and safety improvement project on KY 536 from Williamswoods Drive to Madison Pike (KY 17) is in progress. 

    The project includes the following improvements:
    -Widening throughout the project area from two lanes of vehicular traffic, to four lanes, to reduce congestion and improve traffic efficiency
    -A new alignment will be created north of the current KY 536
    -A new bridge will be constructed over the existing Independence Road. This portion will tie back into the current KY 536 at mile point 3.9
    -A multi-use path will be built on both sides of KY 536 to improve bicycle/pedestrian connectivity
    -Curb/gutter improvements along with storm sewer and drainage work

    Additionally, two roundabouts will be built to improve traffic flow, reduce congestion and increase safety. These roundabouts will be located at the following intersections:
    -The intersection of KY 536 and Williamswoods Drive
    -On the newly constructed portion of KY 536 west of Independence Road

    This work may involve several traffic impacts for equipment moving in and out of the work zone.

    The project will require traffic switches, and other new traffic patterns.   • Access to Royal Drive at Buttermilk Pike (KY 371) – 2.65 mile point – On Friday, Dec. 13, 2024, access to Royal Drive at Buttermilk Pike was closed to motorists until further notice for infrastructure construction and repair.

    A portion of Royal Drive will be restricted to construction traffic only, and detour signs will be posted to guide motorists. Local traffic should plan to use alternate routes.

  • Bristow Road (KY 1303) – 0.0 – 0.92 mile point – A widening and safety improvement project on Bristow Road began in September 2024. Crews will be working on Bristow Road from the KY 536/KY 1303 intersection to the Beechgrove Elementary School.

    The project includes the following improvements:
    -Widening throughout the project area from two lanes of vehicular traffic, to four lanes to reduce congestion and improve traffic efficiency
    -A multi-use path will be built on both sides of Bristow Road to improve bicycle/pedestrian connectivity
    -Curb/gutter improvements along with storm sewer and drainage work. This work will greatly improve drainage in an area that has been prone to flooding

    Additionally, the project will eventually tie into a new roundabout at the KY 536 and KY 1303 intersection improving traffic flow, reducing congestion and increasing safety.

    This work may involve several traffic impacts for equipment moving in and out of the work zone. The project will require traffic switches, and other new traffic patterns.   • Mt. Zion Road/Bristow Road (KY 536) ​ 0.96 ​ 2.5 mile points ​ ​A widening and safety improvement project on KY 536 is in progress. Crews will be working on KY 536 from west of the KY 1303 intersection, to west of Williamswoods Drive.

    The project includes the following improvements:
    ​-Widening throughout the project area from two lanes of vehicular traffic, to four lanes, to reduce congestion and improve traffic efficiency
    -A multi-use path will be built on both sides of KY 536 to improve bicycle/pedestrian connectivity
    -Curb/gutter improvements along with storm sewer and drainage work

    Additionally, two roundabouts will be built to improve traffic flow, reduce congestion and increase safety. These roundabouts will be located at the following intersections:
    -KY 536 and KY 1303
    -KY 536 and Hogrefe Road

    This work may involve several traffic impacts for equipment moving in and out of the work zone.

Pendleton County Header

  • Milford Road (CR 1110) – 8.177 mile point – A bridge replacement project on Milford Road is in progress. The project involves removing the existing bridge and replacing it with a new structure over Mill Cree​​k located south of the intersection of Brownings Corner Road (CR 1121) and McKinneysburg Road (CR 1117).

    To accommodate bridge replacement work, the bridge was closed to traffic on Wednesday, May 13. A signed detour is in place to guide motorists around the closure utilizing Brownings Corner Road (CR 1121) and KY 539.

    The bridge is expected to reopen to traffic on Monday, July 27. Additional work will continue throughout the project area following the reopening until all project tasks are complete.

    The project has a contract completion date of Nov. 1, 2026.

Robertston County Header 
  • Piqua Kentontown Road (KY 617) – 3.9 mile point – A portion of Piqua Kentontown road south of Waterworks Road is closed due to a slide. This closure will remain in place until further notice. Motorists can detour using U.S. 62 and KY 165. KYTC will provide an update once repairs to reopen the road are scheduled.
