FLEMINGSBURG, Ky. (Oct. 7, 2021) – The Kentucky Department of Highways will close part of KY 1944 (White Oak Road) in Bath County during daytime work hours next week for slide repairs.

Beginning about 8 a.m. Monday, Oct. 11, crews close KY 1944 near the 5 mile marker, which is about 1.5 miles west of the KY 111 (Wyoming Road) intersection. The road will close 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day, Monday through Friday, Oct. 15, or until work is complete.

During construction, motorists may detour using KY 36 and KY 111 to reroute through Owingsville.

Road work schedules are subject to change depending on weather conditions. Motorists are asked to heed all warning signs, slow down in work zones and remain aware of workers and construction equipment when traveling.
