Vehicle height restrictions in place on KY 74 in Middlesboro
MANCHESTER, Ky. (March 2, 2020) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises all large commercial vehicles that access to downtown Middlesboro from U.S. 25E via KY 74 are prohibited due to the low vertical clearance of the CSX Bridge between 17th and 18th Street.
The vertical clearance of this bridge is 13 feet and prohibits large commercial vehicles from passing. Trucks wishing to access downtown Middlesboro beyond 17th street will have to seek an alternate route.
