KY 3472 (Memorial Drive) in Clay County will be closed beginning Monday, Sept. 16
MANCHESTER, Ky. (Sept. 10, 2019) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 11 Office advises motorists KY 3472 (Memorial Drive) in Clay County will be closed between mile points 0.000 - 0.544 (U.S. 421 intersection and the intersection with Marie Langdon Drive – KY 3479) starting Monday, Sept. 16, at 7 a.m. and is expected to conclude on Monday, Sept. 23, at 8 p.m.
The closure is necessary to construct a portion of KY 3472 from the intersection of US421 to the City Garage entrance and to remove the old bridge.
The signed detour will be via KY 2438 to KY 2432 to KY 3472. Advent Health Manchester traffic will need to use the assigned detour.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet asks motorists to be aware of the work zone, expected delays, and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.
The date and time could be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
