MANCHESTER, Ky. (May 20, 2019) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 11 Office advises that intermittent lane closures are scheduled to begin today on Hal Rogers Parkway (milepoints 0.000 - 4.169) in Laurel County.
The intermittent lane closures, and possible flagged traffic control, will begin today, and expected to conclude on Thursday, May 23. They will begin again on Tuesday, May 28, and expected to conclude on Saturday, June 1. Work times will be from 5:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. each day.
The intermittent lane closures are necessary due to micro-milling operations. Motorists will drive on the micro-milling until asphalt placement begins.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet asks motorists to be aware of the work zone, expected delays and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.
The date and time could be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
