A portion of KY 1209 in Jackson County will be closed beginning Wednesday, May 15
MANCHESTER, Ky. (May 14, 2019) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that a portion of KY 1209 at milepoints 0.241 – 0.353 in Jackson County will be closed beginning Wednesday, May 15, and is expected to conclude Thursday, May 16.
The road closure will be in effect from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and is necessary to allow crews to perform a cross drain replacement.
KYTC asks motorists to be aware of the work zone, expect delays and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.
The date, time, and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
