Pavement Operations Start Tuesday, October 5 on a Portion of I-75 in Whitley County
MANCHESTER, Ky. (October 4, 2021) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that pavement operations start Tuesday, October 5 on a portion of I-75 (mile points 11.2 to Kentucky/Tennessee state line) in Whitley County.
As part of the asphalt rehab project on I-75, motorists traveling I-75 southbound can expect intermittent lane closures from mile point 11.2 to the Kentucky/Tennessee state line until the evening of Friday, October 8 due to the pavement operations.
Work hours are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day.
KYTC asks motorists to be aware of the work zone, expect delays, and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.
The date, time, and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
