Slide Repair Operations Start Today on a Portion of KY 2007 in Harlan County
MANCHESTER, Ky. (August 10, 2021) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that slide repair operations start today and is expected to end Tuesday, August 24 on a portion of KY 2007 at mile point 1.70 (Happy Top Community) in Harlan County.
The road closure will be in effect beginning today, and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day beginning Wednesday, August 11. Alternate routes are KY 219 and KY 2007.
KYTC asks motorists to be aware of the work zone, expect delays, and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.
The date, time, and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
