REVISED: Bridging Kentucky Project Starts on Monday, September 13 in Harlan County

MANCHESTER, Ky. (September 2, 2021) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 11 Office advises motorists that a bridge replacement project in Harlan County starts on Monday, September 13.

This project will replace the Breedens Creek Road Bridge over Breedens Creek. The bridge will be closed during construction and traffic will utilize a temporary onsite diversion. Construction will take up to 45 days. The new bridge is expected to open to traffic by Friday, November 12.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet asks motorists to be aware of the work zone, expect delays, and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.
