 Drivers should expect delays Friday, June 14, at the traffic light and on the ramps from KY 80/Hal Rogers Parkway westbound to KY 15, and from KY 15 to the Hal Rogers Parkway westbound. Traffic signals will be moved, new temporary pavement markings will be installed, and barrier walls will be repositioned. Flaggers and law enforcement officers will be present. The work should be completed by the end of the day.

Drivers who use the ramp from KY 80/Hal Rogers Parkway westbound to KY 15 at Hazard should be aware of delays on Thursday, May 30. Starting at 8:30 a.m. and lasting until around 11:30, workers will be moving the barrier wall on the ramp. Flaggers will guide motorists, but it is possible that exit traffic will back up on the Hal Rogers/KY 80 mainline. Drivers may wish to use another route to reach KY 15, with the reminder that Morton Boulevard traffic can only turn right onto southbound KY 15.

Perry CountyKY 7 in Perry County

KY 7 at MP 3.8 in Perry County is reduced to one lane, with traffic controlled by temporary traffic signals, for repairs to a pavement break. This work is expected to take two to three weeks to complete. The project location is a little more than a mile beyond the KY 1165 intersection, past the newly-constructed segment.

Wolfe CountyKY 715 and KY 2016 in Wolfe County

Drivers who use KY 715 and KY 2016 in Wolfe County should be aware of a traffic pattern change beginning Tuesday, May 28. Traffic will be shifted to the newly constructed intersection on May 28 around 1 p.m., or possibly earlier. A new intersection has been built to improve sight distance, and a left-turn lane from southbound KY 715 to southbound KY 2016 has been added.

Beginning Tuesday, April 17, drivers using the Mountain Parkway in Wolfe County should be aware of ongoing lane shifts and traffic pattern changes in conjunction with the realignment project near mile marker 38. The speed limit in this area will be reduced to 45 mph. Traffic pattern changes will be frequent in the coming days. Drivers should pay attention to warning signs in this area.
