When documents are required to be certified

The certified letter is a state-recognized document that certifies vehicle information exactly as it appears in official state records at the time of generation. Each letter includes a timestamp and the signature of the Motor Vehicle Licensing Division Director. Please note that vehicle records may change over time; therefore, the certification reflects data only as of the date and time it was issued.
