​Photo Guidelines
Photo Release Form

EACH PICTURE NEEDS:
​Needs to have CAPTION INFO: 
What is happening, who is in the photo, and who took the photo

To tell a story in the picture. Does it back up what you are trying to say? 
Picture are a valuable part of the story that we are telling. Does it tell the story without words?

We want the viewer to see themselves and their students doing the same thing.

 


 



PICTURES NEED:

*To be engaging

*Shows positive activity

*Show smiles and happiness

*Have photographer credits and caption info

*Have permission to use the photo from the photographer

*Have permission from the people in it (Download Release)

*Have good lighting

*Has background situations that lend to the story or message


AVOID:

* Ugly, nasty, shocking, messy, cluttered, or unpleasant things in the background

* Looming shadows that make the picture feel dark or oppressive

*Dark or sad weather

*Frowns, scowls, or expressionless faces

*Low-resolution images

*Dangerous or unattractive activities happening (We don't want to encourage bad or unsafe behavior)
