Office of Audits
Alice S. Wilson has been with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet since September 2006 and is the Executive Director of the Office of Audits. In this role, she oversees all audit functions of the Cabinet, including the Division of Audit Services and the Division of Road Fund Audits. Ms. Wilson’s service prior to joining Transportation included 12 years in the office of the state Auditor of Public Accounts. She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Kentucky and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Division of Audit Services
Lori A. Mann has been with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet since July 2013. She is the Director of the Division of Audit Services, which includes the External Audit Branch, Internal Audit Branch, and Contract Audit Branch. Prior to this role, she was an Audit Manager at the Auditor of Public Accounts where she worked for 12 years. Lori attended Kentucky State University where she obtained a bachelor's degree in Business Administration specializing in Accounting, and she is a Certified Fraud Examiner.
Division of Road Fund Audits
Randall Royer currently serves as the Director of Road Fund Audits. He is also the interim Chairman for the Kentucky Airport Zoning Commission for the Transportation Cabinet. Randall began his career with state government in 1989. He previously served as a Staff Attorney for the Department of Surface Mining, Environment & Public Protection Cabinet and for the Office of Legal Services in the Transportation Cabinet. Mr. Royer holds a BA in International Relations from U of L as well as a JD from U of L Law School.
Brent R. King joined the Transportation Cabinet in 2008 and is the Assistant Director of Road Fund Audits. He most recently served as the Assistant Director of Audit Services. Prior to his employment with the Cabinet, Mr. King worked for six years with the Auditor of Public Accounts where he performed and supervised financial statement and compliance audits of various state agencies. Prior to becoming a CPA, Brent was a teacher and taught band to students in grades 6-12 in the Woodford County School System as well as a school system in southern Georgia. Mr. King is a graduate of the University of Kentucky and is a Certified Public Accountant.
