The Office of Inspector General (OIG) strives to ensure accountability and efficiency within the Transportation Cabinet by addressing allegations of wrongdoing by Cabinet employees and entities doing business with the Cabinet, as well as mismanagement, inefficiencies, or ineffectiveness that lead to wrongdoing.  Examples of wrongdoing include, but are not limited to: contract or procurement fraud; employee misconduct; theft or misuse of government property; and solicitation or acceptance of gratuities, bribes, or kickbacks.
