Louisville Smog

With traffic comes vehicle emissions. The KYTC Division of Environmental Analysis evaluates the potential impact of all highway projects on the air we breathe.  Carbon monoxide, Particulate Matter (PM 2.5) and Mobile Source Air Toxics (MSAT’s) are evaluated for highway projects and modeled to ensure that the addition of the project will not increase the amount of pollutants in the area.
