Emergency road aid funds announced for Lewis County slide repairs
Two projects totaling $85,890
FLEMINGSBURG, Ky. (Nov. 14, 2019) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) has announced that $85,890 in County Road Aid emergency funds has been awarded to Lewis County for slide repairs on local roads.
Two projects have been authorized: One totaling $47,730 for a slide repair on Smooth Rock Road (CR 1403) located 0.360 miles south of KY 10; and another totaling $38,160 for a slide repair on Beechy Creek Rd (CR 1219) located 0.924 miles west of KY 344.
"The Bevin administration is committed to the Cabinet's mission of providing a safe, reliable transportation network for all Kentuckians," said KYTC Secretary Greg Thomas. "These emergency funds will help repair and restore damaged infrastructure throughout these communities."
The Lewis County Fiscal Court is responsible for administering all work.
