KY 57 Improvements - Fleming County

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is proposing a roadway reconstruction project on KY 57 extending from the north end of the previously completed KY-57 Flemingsburg Bypass project to the recently completed bridge replacement project located at the Fleming/Lewis County line.

Project Purpose

The purpose of this project is to address geometric deficiencies and improve mobility and connectivity between the KY 9 AA Highway and I-64. This section of KY 57 is part of a combination of state highways that provides direct linkage between these two major thoroughfares. This project is needed to provide a more consistent and reliable roadway for passenger car and truck traffic traveling along this north/south corridor.
