Purpose
This project strives to implement safety improvements for all users along the KY 1865/New Cut Road corridor.

The project will reallocate space within the corridor to discourage speeding, accommodate all users, and facilitate connectivity while creating a safer, more comfortable, and pleasant environment. Known users along the corridor include motor vehicles, transit vehicles/buses, pedestrians/walkers/runners/transit users, and bicyclists. The context along the corridor is mixed and transitions along its length, including commercial areas, single-family residential neighborhoods, multifamily residential, Iroquois Park, an​d several schools and churches.

Safety improvements on KY 1865 (New Cut Road)/Taylor Boulevard from MP 0.5 (just south of Old New Cut Road) to MP 5.766 (just north of the I-264 ramp).
