A portion of I-75 southbound will be reduced to one lane in Whitley County beginning today
MANCHESTER, Ky. (Sept. 9, 2019) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 11 Office advises motorists that a portion of I-75 southbound at mile point 19.0 in Whitley County will be reduced to one lane beginning today, and is expected to conclude on Friday, Sept 13.
Work times will be from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.
The lane closure is necessary due to rock slide removal operations.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet asks motorists to be aware of the work zone, expected delays, and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.
The date and time could be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
