Intermediate lane closures set to begin today on U.S. 25W in Whitley County
MANCHESTER, Ky. (Sept. 9, 2019) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that a portion of U.S. 25W (mile points 0.0 – 11.0) in Whitley County will have intermediate lane closures beginning today and they are expected to conclude on Friday, Sept. 20.
The intermittent lane closures will be in effect Monday thru Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
The road closure is necessary due to KYTC District 11 crews and contractors conducting tree trimming and tree cutting operations.
KYTC asks motorists to be aware of the work zone, expect delays, and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.
The date, time, and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
