Lane closure set to begin on a portion of U.S.25W in Whitley County
MANCHESTER, Ky. (June 4, 2019) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that a lane closure on a portion of U.S. 25W (milepoint 13.9) in Whitley County will begin Wednesday, June 5 at 7 a.m., and is expected to conclude, Friday, June 21 at 5 p.m.
The lane closure is necessary to allow crews to perform shoulder work operations. Work will be performed daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., and a traffic signal will be used through the work area.
KYTC asks motorists to be aware of the work zone, expect delays and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.
The date, time, and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
