Effective with the March 22, 2002 project letting, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will implement new procedures pertaining to the Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) Program.
A hyperlink is provided on this page to a copy of the SPECIAL NOTE that will be included in all future highway construction projects utilizing federal funds and containing DBE participation goals.
It is emphasized that the Cabinet has placed the highest priority on complying with the DBE Program regulations. Going forward, the Cabinet will be monitoring its DBE participation and strictly enforcing DBE regulations in accordance with the regulations found at 49 CFR Part 23 and Part 26.
Questions concerning implementation of these new procedures can be directed to the Division of Contract Procurement.
