​Rockfalls and landslides pose a significant threat to highway safety and operations in District 10. These geologic hazards incur substantial maintenance costs, create safety risks, and lead to costly road closures and detours. This technical report provides a state-of-the-practice overview of geohazard risk assessment and mitigation to support the District 10 Rockfall and Roadslide Planning Study.
