Interstate 65 in Louisville will close between the Watterson Expressway (I-264) and downtown Louisville (Jefferson Street) from June 1- July 31 to speed progress on replacing 3 aging bridges.
The closure will save at least a year of construction restrictions, and a signed detour will be in place. Local street closures and ramp closures will also be needed.

US 460 in Menifee County to be closed Saturday, Aug. 15

JACKSON, KY – In order to replace a drainage pipe, the Kentucky Department of Highways plans to close US 460 in Menifee County on Saturday, Aug. 15. The road will be closed between mile markers 2 and 3, between the Means and Cornwell communities. The project will begin around 7 a.m. and will continue until approximately 3 p.m. During this time, the road will be closed to all through traffic.

No marked detour will be posted, but local drivers can use KY 713 (Hawkins Branch Road/Indian Creek Road) as an alternate route between the Montgomery County line and Frenchburg. Due to the narrow nature of this road, drivers of commercial vehicles may wish to use I-64 and KY 36 through Bath County as the detour. Provisions will be made should emergency vehicles need access through the work zone, but all other traffic must detour. Motorists should plan their trips accordingly.

In case of inclement weather, the closure will be postponed until another suitable date.

Between 3,100 and 3,500 vehicles use this section of US 460 each day.
